Trees and shrubs are the renewable resource that keeps on giving, we get quite a lot without getting too much back in return. Since they are so generous why not have a go at feeding us too? Cutting grown, nut variety with good nut numbers. 4 x 3m

Common Walnut. Grafted cultivar – Rex

Laurus nobilis

Also known as Bay Laurel this 5-10m tree has dark green leaves that have a pleasant fragrance when crushed and can be used in cooking. Good for shelter as it becomes quite dense.

Pinus pinea

Italian Stone Pine. Very hardy, medium sized tree. Edible seeds (Pine Nuts).  6 x 5m

Rosemary 'Lockwood de Forest'

Another variety of Rosemary however this plant droops and is a very good ground cover option especially when flowering.

Rosmarinus

This of course is the herb Rosemary used in cooking for its strong fragrance and taste. It also produces attractive blue-purple flowers.
